Fang Fang is a highly acclaimed Chinese writer and she started an online diary in which she wrote things that happened in Wuhan, as a result of the Novel Coronavirus outbreak there.
Fang Fang wrote on a lot of things, including topics like deaths of relatives, shortages of masks and overcrowded hospitals turning people away – topics which were considered to be politically sensitive to China.
The real name of the writer is Wang Fang, but she uses the pen name Fang Fang.
China is a Communist country and people of China loved to read her diary, which give an unbiased account of what was happening in Wuhan.
But, for her Wuhan Diary, Fang Fang is now receiving death threats such as:
