Julia Roberts boots on sale!
Everyone can have a piece of Hollywood at home, when over 900 iconic items from famous movies will go under the hammer of the auction. Julia Roberts’s famous Pretty Woman boots and the jacket that Brad Pitt wore at Fight Club, are just some of the pieces in the treasured collection.
Fans of some of the most popular movies of the last decade, will soon be able to recreate their favorite scenes at home, as nearly 1,000 items will go on sale at an online auction.
Among the iconic items that will go under the hammer of the Prop Store Entertainment auction in early December, are the special effects alien head in Alien, an R2-S8 Star Wars remote control, Tom Cruise’s jacket of “Top Gun” and Julia Robert’s long leather boots of the film “Pretty Woman.
The artifacts were carefully selected by Prop Store founder Stephen Lane, through his network of producers, actors, production companies and distributors.
In total more than 900 items from around 350 movies and TV shows will be put up for auction for two days. Among the jewels in the collection, Lande mentions the light sword used by Obi-Wan Kenobi’s character in “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”, which is valued at 80 thousand to 120 thousand pounds, the joker fedora Jack Nicholson to Batman or the costume of James Bond training at Skyfall.
The catalog also includes a red leather jacket worn by Brad Pitt in the 1999 film Fight Club, with a starting price of 20-30,000, pirate Jack Sparrow hat in the Pirates of the Caribbean, and the helmet worn by Tom Hanks in “Save the Soldier Ryan.” The online auction, on December 1st and 2nd, is expected to generate around 5 million.
