Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin wears Macaulay Culkin mask.
30 years ago Macaulay Culkin became famous as a child star in “Home Alone”. The photo from the movie poster in particular, is still remembered today. A mouth-nose protection has now been created from this, which of course suits Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin particularly well.
Macaulay Culkin celebrated his 40th birthday at the end of August. The actor, who was celebrated as a child star for his role in “Kevin – Alone at Home”, in the 1990s, is far from grown up. At least he has kept his childish humor, as he proves time and again on social media.
Now the past meets the pandemic-ridden present. Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin is very creative in promoting mouth and nose protection. The actor wears a mask in a new photo on Instagram that shows him in his cult role as an eight year old, more precisely, in the iconic pose that everyone knows, in which Kevin holds both hands to his cheeks and opens his mouth in panic.
The nose and mouth portion of this cult photo has now been printed on protective masks – so that Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin has the absurd opportunity to go shopping with the lower half of his child’s face. This could either confuse or frighten other people or perhaps just cheer them up.
In fact, he seemed to have shocked some users – after all, most people associate Culkin with his Kevin role. Most people don’t want to admit that it was a good 30 years ago.
“Kevin – Alone at Home” by director John Hughes with Culkin as Kevin McAllister was released in German cinemas in early 1991. In 1992 “Kevin – Alone in New York” followed, five years later “Back Alone at Home”, although Culkin was no longer part of it. With “Kevin – Alone Against All” and “Alone at Home: The Christmas Coup”, two more films in the series were made without Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.
