Ease on lockdown in Germany sees rise in Coronavirus infection rate!
Just a few days after Germany eased its lockdown on the New Coronavirus, the number of infections has risen and it is feared that Germany could now be facing its second wave of Coronavirus infections.
After discussions with the leaders of the 16 states of Germany, Chancellor Angela Merkel declared a broad relaxation of national restrictions.
All shops were allowed to reopen, pupils would gradually be allowed to go to school and the top football league of Germany – Bundesliga, will be restarting by next weekend.
Germany has eased restrictions in what are considered to be some of the most risky areas for Coronavirus infections – and these include hotels, restaurants and professional football.
Museums and all kinds of shops have started to open in Germany.
At the time of writing this, the number of COVID-19 cases in Germany, is around 172,000 and the number of deaths is almost 7,600.
