Africa might be the next epicenter for Coronavirus!
This warning has been issued by none other than the World Health Organization (WHO).
There has been a very steep rise seen in the number of Novel Coronavirus cases in Africa, in the past week.
UN officials also state that it is more than likely that the Coronavirus pandemic will lead to the death of at least 300,000 people in Africa and around 30 million people in Africa could face poverty.
Over 1/3rd of the populace of Africa do not have proper water supply.
Almost 60% of urban dwellers of Africa live in slums which are drastically overcrowded – conditions where the Coronavirus could actually thrive.
So far, North Africa is the region that has been hit the most by the New Coronavirus.
According to WHO, the Coronavirus is spreading from big cities to the hinterland in Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast and South Africa.
