3 million plus Coronavirus cases in America.
In just 7 days, the number of Novel Coronavirus cases in the United States of America, has doubled. But American officials claim that America is still seeing the first wave of the deadly Coronavirus.
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Director, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said on Twitter and Facebook, on a Livestream:
“We are still knee-deep in the first wave of this. I would say, this would not be considered a wave. It was a surge, or a resurgence of infections superimposed upon a baseline … that really never got down to where we wanted to go.”
Because of the spike in the number of New Coronavirus cases, all over America, in the past few weeks, there is now a huge shortage of hospital beds in America and worse still, the economy of America, could now be pushed back, a lot more than it already is.
National Institutes of Health Director, Dr. Francis Collins, said on the same Livestream as Dr. Anthony Fauci:
“We just need all of the people in America to have that confidence. Keep your optimism, keep your hope and do the right thing. All of those simple and straightforward things that I know you’re tired of. But the virus is still out there and needs all of us to keep this from getting any worse.”
Massachusetts General Hospital, Chief of Infectious Diseases, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, stated:
“Let’s remember there are 300 million people in this country who remain susceptible and have been uninfected so far, and this virus is far from running out of people to infect. And until we change our behavior to prevent these infections, the infections are going to continue to soar.”
In the United States of America, there are now around 3,170,000 cases and about 135,100 deaths, because of Coronavirus.
