100,000 Coronavirus cases per day in America?
Will the United States of America soon start to see 100,000 Novel Coronavirus cases per day?
Such is the warning that has been issued to the American Senate Health and Education Committee, by Dr. Anthony Fauci, leading infectious disease expert in America.
In the past few weeks, there has been a huge spike in the number of Coronavirus cases in the United States of America and the reason for this is the easing of the lockdowns all across America. Twelve states in America have seen an alarming increase in the number of New Coronavirus cases and hospital admissions. There has been a shocking increase in the Coronavirus pandemic death rate in Arizona.
Dr. Anthony Fauci said:
“We are now having 40-plus thousand new cases a day. Clearly we are not in control right now.”
The people of the United States of America, are not obeying the rules of social distancing and neither are they wearing masks. Dr. Anthony Fauci also said that around 50% of the New Coronavirus cases, were primarily from 4 states in America and these were Texas, Florida, California and Arizona.
Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Robert Redfield, said:
“It is critical that we all take the personal responsibility to slow the transmission of Covid-19 and embrace the universal use of face coverings. The disease impacts us all and it’s going to take all of working together to stop it.”
CDC Principal Deputy Director, Dr. Anne Schuchat, stated that America was not responding in the way in which other countries who have met with success in countering the Coronavirus pandemic had responded and thus, the Novel Coronavirus had spread faster and wider all over America.
Dr. Anne Schuchat said:
“This is really the beginning. I think there was a lot of wishful thinking around the country that, ‘hey it’s summer’. Everything’s going to be fine. We’re over this and we are not even beginning to be over this. There are a lot of worrisome factors about the last week or so.”
At the time of writing this, there were around 2.76 million cases and 133,000 deaths in America, because of Coronavirus.
